Every manufacturing engineer lives in PDFs — customer drawings, inspection reports, material test certificates, PPAP packs. And almost every "free online PDF tool" works the same way: your file is uploaded to someone's server, processed there, and downloaded back. For controlled documents and NDA-bound drawings, that is a compliance problem, not a convenience.
